Women's Volleyball Completes Sweep Weekend, Claims Bucknell Invitational

Led by all-tournament team selections Lindsay Ensign and Sheena Donohue, the Princeton women's volleyball team completed a perfect weekend at the Bucknell Invitational with 3-0 wins over Bucknell and Wagner. The Tigers are now 6-0 on the season and have claimed two tournament titles, including the Colgate Invitational during the season-opening weekend.
Princeton took down the host school in the Tigers' first match of the day. After claiming hard-fought 30-25 and 30-24 wins in the first two games, Princeton was firing on all cylinders in the finale and closed the match with a 30-16 win. As a team, Princeton hit .345 in the match, and Ensign led the way with a .517 attack percentage (18-3-29). Donohue wasn't far behing, killing 15 balls and hitting .448.
Sophomore setter Bailey Robinson led the offense with 41 assists, while classmate Jessica Hoffmann paced the defense with a team-high four blocks. The defense held Bucknell to a .069 attack percentage in the decisive final game. A third sophomore, Parker Henritze, had a solid all-around performance with eight kills, nine digs and five aces.
Princeton completed the weekend with a comfortable 3-0 win over Wagner (30-24, 30-22, 30-22). Ensign and Henritze combined for 26 kills, while junior libero Emily Turner recorded 14 digs. Hoffmann killed eight balls in 10 hits for an .800 attack percentage.
Princeton will compete at the Red Flash Invitational next weekend in Loretto, Pa.
