Bortz Named Ivy Field Hockey Rookie of the Week

PRINCETON -- Freshman Tina Bortz was named the Ivy League Field Hockey Rookie of the Week on Wednesday for her performance in the Tigers' season opener at Richmond last Saturday.
Bortz earned a start in her first collegiate game and responded by scoring two of the Tigers' three goals. The first goal gave the Tigers a 2-0 lead early in the game and her goal with 10 minutes left to play tied the game at 3-3. Bortz had two of Princeton's six shots on goal and both of her goals were unassisted.
