Vote Goeckner-Zoeller and Watt to the Frozen Fours Skills Challenge

Princeton hockey seniors Grant Goeckner-Zoeller and Laura Watt were recently chosen among the finalists to compete in the NCAA Pontiac Frozen Four Skills Challenge this April, and now fans can help send them to St. Louis by voting at NCAAsports.com.
Goeckner-Zoeller currently ranks third on the Tigers in scoring with six goals and 10 assists for 16 points. He also leads all current Princeton players in career points, sittin just three points away from the century mark for his career at Princeton.

2007 marks the second year for the Pontiac Frozen Four Skills Challenge, a fast-paced, exciting event that pits male and female seniors in an East versus West team competition in the following events: puck-control relay, fastest skater, hardest shot, accuracy shooting, rapid fire shooting and penalty shot competition. One hundred eighty players were nominated for the competition. A selection committee has narrowed the candidates down to 88 and now fans have a chance to help the selection committee identify the 32 players that will participate in the skills challenge.
Voting will take place from Jan. 26-Feb. 12. Please vote for no more than six position players and two goalies (per squad, per gender). The participants will be announced in mid to late February.
The 2007 Pontiac Frozen Four Skills Challenge takes place on Friday, April 6 at Scottrade Center in St. Louis. The presentation of the Hobey Baker Memorial Award and the Hockey Humanitarian Award also will be part of the evening's festivities—"Friday Night at the Frozen Four".
