Women's Volleyball Finishes Strong in 3-1 Win over Brown

PRINCETON -- Sheena Donohue and Parker Henritze each reached the 20-kill mark Saturday afternoon as the Princeton women's volleyball team improved to 5-0 in the Ivy League and 13-3 overall in a 3-1 win over Brown.
With other results from around the league, the win put Princeton alone in first place in the Ivy race.
Princeton rebounded from a 30-27 game two loss to the Bears with a .629 attack rate in a 30-19 win in game three, following it up by holding Brown to hitting .043 in a 30-21 closeout win in game four. The Tigers won the opening game 30-24, hitting .326.
Donohue led Princeton with 24 kills while Henritze had 20 and Lindsey Ensign hit .630 while making 18 kills. Defensively, four Tigers had double-digit dig matches with Jenny McReynolds' 23 leading the team.
Moira Gallagher led Brown with 16 kills while Katie Lapinski had 19 digs.
The Tigers will complete the first go-round of Ivy League play next weekend at Dartmouth and Harvard.
