Four Named to NFHCA National Academic Squad

Four members of the Princeton field hockey team were named to the 2006 NFHCA Collegiate National Academic Squad this week. The honorees include sophomores Candi Arner, Kraftin Schreyer and Kristin Schwab, and freshman Tina Bortz.
Schwab earned the honor for the second time in her career, while the three others are first time award winner. The NFHCA National Academic Squad program recognizes those collegiate student-athletes who have achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.30 through the first semester of the 2006-07 academic year.
The Princeton field hockey team was 12-7 in 2006, won the Ivy League title and advanced to the NCAA Quarterfinals.
