Tigers Complete Perfect League Season With Win Over GW

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The 16th-ranked Princeton women's water polo team completed its league season with an unbeaten record with a 10-7 win over George Washington on Saturday afternoon. Seniors Jazmin Brown and Karina Reyner both scored three goals in the win as Princeton improved to 17-7 overall and 6-0 in the league.
After a tight start, the team's were knotted at 2-2 after a quarter, the Tigers broke things open with four unaswered goals in the second quarter. Princeton then held the margin from there, winning 10-7. In addition to Brown and Reyner's three goals, freshman Helen Meigs scored twice. Junior Natalie Kim made seven saves in three quarters for the win.
Princeton is the top seed for the Southern Championships, which will be held next Saturday at Maryland. Princeton will start the day at 10 a.m., against either Bucknell or George Washington.
