Three Tigers Earn All-Eastern Honors

Elyse Colgan, Natalie Kim and Karina Reyner were named to the All-Tournament team of the Eastern Championship for their performances in Princeton's runner-up finish. The Tigers advanced to the title game by defeating Maryland and Michigan, before dropping a close game to Hartwick. Additionally, Princeton coach Luis Nicolao was named the Eastern Coach of the Year.
The Tigers advanced to their first Eastern Championship game since 2001 this season and earned their best Eastern finish since placing second in 2001. Princeton finished third in 2006 and fourth the previous three seasons. The Tigers completed 2007 with a 20-6 record.
Reyner led all Tigers in the tournament with five goals, including two in Princeton's wins over Maryland and Michigan. Reyner scored the game winner in the Michigan game. Colgan scored four goals in the three games, tallying two in the Maryland game and one in each of the other two. Kim was solid all weekend long in the cage, allowing just 13 goals in three games, and making 34 saves.
Nicolao received his first Eastern Coach of the Year award in women's water polo. He is a four-time Southern Coach of the Year, and won the men's water polo Eastern Coach of the Year award in 2004.
