Reinprecht Claims Weekly Ivy Player and Rookie Honors

Princeton freshman Katie Reinprecht was selected as the Ivy League's Player and Rookie of the Week for the second time this season on Tuesday. Reinprecht scored three goals and added an assist as the Tigers went 2-0 over the weekend.
On Saturday in a 7-1 win over Brown, Reinprecht scored two goals on five shots. Her first goal gave Princeton a lead it would never relinquish and stood up as the game winner.
A day later Reinprecht had a goal and an assist to lead Princeton to a thrilling 4-3 overtime win over Villanova. Reinprecht assisted senior Candice Arner to open the scoring for the Tigers. Reinprecht then gave Princeton the 4-3 victory with a decisive overtime goal.
Reinprecht was also the league's Player and Rookie of the Week on Sept. 30 following a five-goal, three-assist week against Penn State, Yale and Albany. She now
now leads the team and the Ivy League with 11 goals, eight assists and 30 points.
Reinprecht and her Princeton teammates remained ranked 12th in the latest STX/NFHCA Poll that was also released on Tuesday. The Tigers return to action on Saturday when they host Harvard at 12 noon in Ivy League action.
