Volleyball Earns Five All-Ivy Honors; Henritze, Ensign Claim Third First-Team Honors

Heading into the 2008 Princeton women's volleyball season, only five players in program history had ever made the All-Ivy first team in three different years. Two more Tigers joined that list, as both seniors Lindsey Ensign and Parker Henritze were unanimously voted first-team All-Ivy by the league coaches. Senior Bailey Robinson, junior Sheena Donohue and freshman Cathryn Quinn also earned All-Ivy recognition for Princeton, which finished 18-4 overall and 12-2 in the Ivy League.
Henritze, a former Ivy League Rookie and Player of the Year, led Princeton with 3.47 kills per set and the entire Ivy League with .50 aces per set. She finished second on the team in digs with 3.24 per set and averaged a Princeton-best 4.14 points per set. Ensign led the league in attack percentage with a .393 average and ranked third on the team with 3.12 kills per set. Her .69 blocks per set was also a Princeton best.
Robinson and Donohue both earned second-team All-Ivy honors. Robinson led the league with 11.69 assists per set, while Donohue finished second on the team with 3.34 kills per set. Both Robinson and Donohue were named Ivy League Player of the Week during the season. Quinn, who ranked second in the league with a .365 attack percentage and averaged 2.49 kills and .47 blocks per set, earned All-Ivy honorable mention.
