PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Junior Dan DeGeorge hit a leadoff single and then came around to score the lone run as the Princeton baseball team defeated
DeGeorge added a single in the seventh inning, with the other hits coming from sophomore Jack Murphy in the eighth and sophomore Jon Broscious in the ninth.
Sophomore Langford Stuber got the win, allowing no runs on a hit in four innings. Freshmen Matt Welsh had a perfect 1.2 innings before freshman David Palms allowed two hits in 2.1 innings. Freshman Dan Barnes struck out the side in the bottom of the ninth for the save.
Princeton is now 8-9 overall this season starts its league season this weekend with Ivy League doubleheaders against
