Senior Steven Miller pitched a no-hitter and senior Spencer Lucian hit a two-run homer to lift
Miller got in trouble in the first inning as Cornell loaded the bases on two walks and an error. Cornell then pushed runs across the plate on a hit batsman and a walk. Down 2-0, the Tigers came from behind to win the game.
In the fourth inning, sophomore Jack Murphy hit a leadoff double and later scored on senior Micah Kaplan's single that dropped in shallow center field.
Miller moved to 3-2 on the season with the win. He allowed two runs, both of which were unearned, on no hits. He walked six though and struck out 10. His no-hitter is the first for Princeton since three pitchers combined to no-hit
Game 2
Senior Christian Staehely pitched nine solid innings and Murphy and Lucian provided big home runs in the eighth inning as
Junior Adrian Turnham hit a lead-off single and came around to score when Murphy homered into right center field for his team-leading eighth home run of the season. The next batter was Lucian and he belted his second longball of the afternoon when he hit a solo shot to straight-away center field.
Staehely then got Cornell in order in the top of the ninth to seal the win. He pitched all nine innings and allowed three runs on five hits to pick up his sixth win of the season.
