January 27, 2009 | Men's Tennis, Women's Tennis
PRINCETON -- It's already spring in the tennis world, as the Princeton stringers will play multiple matches this week after a three-month hiatus.
The women's team will host two matches Wednesday on Jadwin Gym's indoor courts, first against Temple at 11 a.m. and then against Rutgers at 4 p.m. The Tigers will then hop a plane to Texas to compete in a national team tournament at Baylor, first against the host Bears Saturday at 1 p.m. Central Time and then Sunday afternoon against either Virginia Tech or Iowa.
The men will begin with three matches in the state of Virginia, starting at Virginia Commonwealth Tuesday at 2 p.m., continuing with Old Dominion Wednesday at 1 p.m. and finishing at Richmond Friday at 5 p.m.
Dual matches and team-wide events will continue through late March before the Ivy League dual-match season begins after spring break.
