Help Volleyball Spike Breast Cancer By Contributing Here
October 19, 2009 | Women's Volleyball
When the Princeton women's volleyball team returns to Dillon Gym this weekend, it will do more than battle Columbia and Cornell. As part of its Dig Pink weekend, Princeton will be taking on breast cancer, and the Tigers are asking you for an assist.
You can contribute to Princeton's battle against breast cancer by visiting here. The Tigers' goal is to raise $2500 by the weekend, and fans are encouraged to wear pink for both Friday's match with Columbia (7 p.m.) and Saturday's match with Cornell (4 p.m.). You can learn more about Dig Pink here.
From the Dig Pink web site:
Dig Pink is a Breast Cancer Awareness Rally being held all of October to raise awareness and funds. Every year we want to make a statement by holding hundreds, potentially thousands, of featured High School and College matches across the country to help educate and raise funds to eradicate this terrible disease. Proceeds will go towards doing something significant and identifiable in the fight against Breast Cancer.
