Dineen Among Four Tigers to Receive All-Ivy Honors

Four members of the Princeton women's hockey team took home All-Ivy honors on Thursday afternoon, led by senior Katherine Dineen's selection to the league's first team. Senior Kristen Young and sophomore Sasha Sherry received second-team distinction and senior Christine Foster was an honorable mention.
Dineen is a first-team All-Ivy choice for the second year in a row. The senior defenseman was the ECAC's Defensive Defenseman of the Year last year and has had another strong season this year. She has 14 points this season and is a +5
Sherry followed up a great freshman year with an even stronger sophomore campaign. The sophomore defender has 21 points and is a team-high +12 this season. She was a first-team selection last year and a second-team All-ECAC player.
Young also received second-team honors after being an honorable mention as a junior. Young has a 1.92 goals-against average and a .925 save percentage this season. She recently set a Princeton record for shutouts in a career and she has not allowed more than two goals in any of her last 14 starts.
Foster's honorable mention marked her first Ivy recognition. The senior is tied for the team lead in points with 22 and has come on strong down the stretch, with a six-game scoring streak, and nine points in the span.
The Tigers host Rensselaer this weekend in a best-of-three quarterfinals series at Baker Rink.
