Women's Water Polo Picks Up Win at Concordia

IRVINE, Calif. -- The Princeton women's water polo team jumped to an early lead and cruised to a 14-6 win at Concordia on Tuesday afternoon. Junior Phoebe Champion scored three times to lead Princeton to its 10th win of the season.
The Tigers went ahead with five goals in the first quarter and led 9-1 by the half ad they ran away for the win. In addition to Champion's two goals, senior Claire Jacobson contributed two goals and nine other Tigers added single goals. Sophomore Christina Michel made 11 saves for the win.
Princeton is now 10-6 this season and is 2-3 on its California trip. The Tigers take on 17th-ranked Long Beach State tomorrow.
