Men's Track Hosts Quad Meet on Saturday

PRINCETON, N.J. (4/10/09) - The Princeton men's track and field team will host the Princeton Quad Meet on Saturday, April 11 at Weaver Stadium.
The meet will kick off with the hammer throw at 11:30 a.m., with the last event being the 4x400 relay at 3:15 p.m. A full list of events can be found below. Visiting teams include Penn, Rutgers and Villanova.
The Tigers won nine of the 18 events at last year's quad meet, including a near sweep of the field events. Shafiq Kashmiri won the 100-meter dash, and Tom Zozokos was first in the 400-meter hurdles. Ian Fox, Duane Hynes and Nathan Crumpton won the high, long and triple jumps, respectiely. Will Byrd was first in the pole vault. Eric Plummer, George Abyad and Craig Pearce won their respective events, the shot put, discus and hammer throw.
