Princeton Field Hockey Represented in U21 Series
May 06, 2009 | Field Hockey
The Princeton Princeton field hockey team will be well represented this weekend when the USA Women's Under-21 National Team hosts Germany in a four-game test series in Boston. Five Tigers were named to the U21 team.
Junior Kaitlyn Perrelle, freshmen Katie Reinprecht and Kathleen Sharkey, and incoming freshmen Michelle Cesan and Julia Reinprecht were named to the U-21 team earlier in the year. The four-game test series is being played at Harvard's Jordan Field and is a chance for both teams to prepare for the 2009 BDO Women's Junior World Cup, which will also be played in Boston this August.
The week of games began with two scrimmages against the U.S. Senior National Team and the games with Germany begin on Wednesday. The teams also play on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
