PRINCETON (1/4/10) -- Freshman goaltender Cassie Seguin was named the ECAC Hockey Goaltender of the Week on Monday for the week ending on Jan. 3.

Seguin did not allow a goal in two appearances last week. On Thursday she entered the game early in the second period with her team trailing 2-0 and stopped all 13 shots she faced as Princeton came from behind to even the game at 2-2. Two days later, Seguin made all 15 saves as she notched her third shutout of the season in a 1-0 Tiger win over Quinnipiac.

Seguin is now 4-4-2 this season with a 1.83 goals-against average and a .920 save percentage. She has blanked her opponent in three of her four wins.

Princeton is back in action on Thursday afternoon when ninth-ranked Northeastern visits Baker Rink for a 4 p.m. faceoff.
