Brown Edges Women's Water Polo Team in ECAC Title Game

Princeton, which defeated Brown 13-11 a week ago, led most of the way, but could not contain the Brown offense in the fourth quarter as the Bears rallied for the win when Lauren Presant scored the go-ahead goal with three seconds left to play.
Princeton led 5-4 at halftime and 7-5 after three quarters. Phoebe Champion led the Tigers with three goals scored with Lauren Brunner and Helen Meigs adding two goals each. Kristen Ward stopped 12 shots in the loss.
Princeton is now 5-2 overall following two weekends of play. The Tigers travel to Indiana next weekend for the Elite Eight Invitational, opening the tournament against Hartwick.
