Denver Defeats Men's Tennis, 6-1
March 18, 2010 | Men's Tennis
ORLANDO, Fla. -- Charlie Brosens provided a win at first singles, but the Princeton men's tennis team fell to No. 31 Denver, 6-1, Thursday afternoon in Orlando, Fla.
Denver began the day with a sweep of the doubles point and picked up five more singles victories over a shorthanded Tiger team without two of its talented freshmen, Matija Pecotic and Matt Siow, unable to play Thursday due to injury.
Brosens came back to win in a tiebreaker third set after splitting the first two, including a 7-6 loss in the opening frame.
Princeton will head south for its final two spring break matches, playing Saturday at Miami and Sunday at Florida Atlantic.
