Field Hockey Places Five on NFHCA Academic Squad

PRINCETON (3/26/10) -- The Princeton field hockey team placed five players on the NFHCA Division I
National Academic Squad. Senior Christina Bortz was named to the squad for the fourth time in her career, while juniors Alexandra Douwes and Jennifer King both were recognized for the third time.
The
National Academic Squad recognizes those student-athletes who have
achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.30 through the first semester of
the 2008-09 academic year. Additionally, Princeton was recognized as one of 59 Division I field
hockey programs with a team GPA greate than 3.00.
