Women's Water Polo Trio Earns Southern Weekly Awards

Wilcox won the league's Player of the Week Award as she anchored the Tiger defense in the three wins. Princeton allowed less than five goals per game in wins over Maryland, George Washington and Bucknell. Wilcox also added two goals in the win over Maryland.
Ward earned her third Defensive Player of the Week award. She backstopped Princeton to all three wins, making six saves in the win over Maryland and 12 in the win over Bucknell, as the Tigers avenged an earlier loss to the Bison. Finally, Zwirner earned her third Rookie of the Week award after scoring five goals on the weekend, two in the win over Maryland and three in the win over George Washington.
Princeton is now 15-8 overall and 3-1 in the CWPA Southern Division. The Tigers wrap up the regular season this coming weekend with league games at Maryland and George Washington.
