Women's Water Polo Team Downs Maryland 13-4

Princeton jumped to a 2-1 lead after eight minutes of play and continued to build its lead throughout, scoring five straight goals in the second period to build a 7-1 lead by halftime.
Lauren Brunner, Phoebe Champion and Brittany Zwirner scored three goals in the win, while Sarah Hutchison, Julie Phillips, Audrey Zak and Saranna Soroka added single goals. Kristen Ward made nine saves in three quarters, while Grace du Pont stopped two shots in the final quarter.
Princeton is now 16-8 overall and 4-1 in the CWPA Southern Division. The Tigers play at George Washington on Sunday.
