Princeton Women Place 12 on ECAC All-Academic Team

PRINCETON (6/23/10) - Twelve members of the 2009-10 Princeton women's hockey team were named to the ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team on Wednesday. Three now-graduated seniors-Stephanie Denino, Maddie Endicott and Melanie Wallace earned the recognition for the third time in their Princeton careers.
Freshmen were not eligible for the All-Academic team in Denino, Endicott and Wallace's rookie season. Their classmate Julie Flynn earned All-Academic recognition for the second time in her career. Rising juniors Danielle DiCesare, Paula Romanchuk and Ann-Marie Elvin were also honored for the second time. The other five Princeton honorees were first-time winners.
Players are eligible for the All-Academic team if they earn a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.00 on a 4.00 scale or have a GPA over 3.00 over the past three semesters.
