Jolie Ward Accepts Head Women's Volleyball Coaching Position At NYU
January 10, 2011 | Women's Volleyball
Jolie Ward, who has coached the Princeton women's volleyball team over the last two seasons, accepted the head coaching position at NYU, it was announced Monday.
Ward took the head position at Princeton following the retirement of Glenn Nelson after the 2008-09 season. She led Princeton to a 24-26 record over the last two years and had the Tigers in the Ivy League championship race into the final weekend of the 2010 season. That team was led by a trio of All-Ivy League players, all of whom will return next year, including first-team honorees Lydia Rudnick and Cathryn Quinn.
A national search will begin immediately for Ward's replacement.
