Four Tigers in Action on Final Fall Weekend

Four members of the Princeton men's tennis team continued the final weekend of the fall season Friday in two locations in New York.
At the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens, Matt Siow and Matt Spindler extended their stay at the USTA/ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championship with a 9-7 consolation win over the Maryland pair of John Collins and Maros Horny, who were seeded first in the consolation draw and ranked No. 9 in the nation in the ITA preseason poll. Siow and Spindler will play Saturday against the California team of Carlos Cueto and Ben McLachlan.
In Ithaca, N.Y., Dan Davies and Ben Quazzo are playing in the Cornell Fall Invitational, where both are in the "A" singles and doubles draws. Davies won his first-round singles match in the 16-player bracket against Doug Gallagher of Lafayette 6-2, 6-0. Quazzo fell to Evan McElwain of Cornell 6-1, 4-6, 7-5, while Davies and Quazzo were defeated by Damien David and Ivan Vereschaga of Buffalo 8-5 in the doubles quarterfinals Friday.
