Laing Named ECAC Hockey Player of the Week

ALBANY, N.Y. (11/8/11) - Sophomore forward Denna Laing of the Princeton women's hockey team has been named the ECAC Hockey Player of the Week it was announced by the league office on Tuesday, Nov. 8.
Laing led Princeton with five points, on two goals and three assists as the Tigers swept Brown and Yale to stay undefeated in ECAC play. She assisted on Princeton's goal in a 1-0 win over Brown on Friday night and scored twice and earned two assists in a 7-1 victory over Yale the following afternoon, finishing with a +5 on-ice rating. Laing also finished the weekend winning 20 of 33 face offs.
This is Laing's first ECAC Hockey weekly honor.
Princeton is at St. Lawrence and Clarkson this weekend, Nov. 11 & 12.
