Sherry and Weber Claim All-Ivy Women's Hockey Honors

Sherry received the third All-Ivy nod of her career at Princeton, being named to the second team for the third straight season after earning first-team honors as a freshman. Sherry ranks second on the Tigers with 20 points this season on seven goals and 13 assists. It marks her third 20-point season and she sits two points shy of matching her career high of 22, set as a sophomore, entering the postseason. Sherry's 75 career points rank fourth all-time among Princeton defensemen.
Weber was named the goalie of the league's second team after a season that saw her go 14-8-1 overall with a 1.79 goals-against average and a .930 save percentage. Those numbers rank her third for goals against and first for save percentage at Princeton in a single season. Weber also set a Princeton and ECAC shutout streak of 289:43 during the season.
Sherry, Weber and the Tigers begin the postseason this weekend at home with a best-of-three ECAC Hockey quarterfinal series against Quinnipiac. The series begins on Friday night at 7 p.m., and continues on Saturday and Sunday (if necessary) at 4 p.m. Admission to all three games is free of charge.
