Mar. 10 TigerCast: Dan Mavraides and Geoff Faux
March 10, 2011 | General, Men's Basketball, Men's Swimming and Diving
Two of Princeton's latest Ivy League champions, Dan Mavraides (men's basketball) and Geoff Faux (men's swimming), join the latest edition of TigerCast.
Mavraides, who joined the Princeton 1,000-point club during the final regular season week of his career, helped Princeton clinch a share of the 2011 men's basketball title when he led the Tigers to a second-half comeback win at Penn Tuesday. He discusses the two biggest games of the past week, including Saturday's loss at Harvard, as well as this weekend's playoff game against the Crimson for the Ivy League's automatic tournament bid (Saturday, 4 p.m., ESPN3.com, Sirius 130, WPRB 103.3 FM).
Faux helped the men's swimming and diving team to a thrilling 5.5-point victory over Harvard to win its third straight Ivy League title. One of the premier sprinters in the league, Faux talks abo.ut the six-week roller coaster that led to the past weekend and the wild three days that culminated with an emotional celebration inside Harvard's Blodgett Pool
