Rigler Claims Southern Player and Rookie of the Week Honors

Rigler led all players on the team with 10 goals over the four games and added four assists, four steals and drew nine ejections. Her best game of the weekend came as Princeton knocked off 18th-ranked UC San Diego. Rigler had five goals, three assists, two steals and three ejections drawn in a 13-12 overtime win. She then chipped in a pair of goals with an ejection drawn versus Cal State Bakersfield in an 8-7 win.
On Sunday Princeton dropped two hard-fought games with Top 10 teams, losing 6-4 to fourth-ranked Hawaii and 9-8 to 10th-ranked San Jose State. Rigler scored once in the Hawaii game and added pairs of goals and steals with four ejections drawn and an assist against San Jose State.
Rigler's honor is her second Rookie of the Week Award and she is the second Tiger to take home Player of the Week honors, along with teammate Brittany Zwirner.
Princeton is now 8-6 this season and visits Concordia on Wednesday.
