Men's Track & Field Sends Contingent to Florida

PRINCETON, N.J. (4/13/11) – The Princeton men's track & field team will send a contingent of its sprinters and jumpers to compete at the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational at the James G. Pressly Stadium at Percy Beard Track in Gainesville, Fla., this Saturday, April 16.

This is the first time the Tigers have competed in the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational. The last time Princeton competed on the Beard Track was for the 2007 NCAA Regional. At that meet freshman Justin Frick was third in the high jump clearing 2.11 meters to advance to the national championship. Freshman Eric Plummer was 22nd in the shot put and sophomores Bryan Sharkey and Brett Campfield finished in the top 35.
