Field Hockey Welcomes Seven in Class of 2015

Princeton was 14-5 a season ago and was an NCAA quarterfinalist for the third year in a row and the fourth time in five years. Princeton will enter the 2011 campaign looking for its seventh-straight Ivy title, its 20th overall and its 17th in the last 18 years.
3 - Cassidy Arner, Midfield/Striker, Red Hill, Pa., Upper Perkiomen High School
Arner was a four-year varsity starter at Upper Perkiomen High School, missing her the early part of her senior year due to an ACL tear in her knee. She returned stronger as a senior and was selected as a team captain. Arner was named first-team PAC 10 all four years at Upper Perkiomen, is a two-time all-state honoree and was named the 2009 NFHCA All-Academic Team. At U.S. Field Hockey events Arner was a two-time Junior Olympic selection and was selected to the Olympic Development Squad in 2009. Arner led her NFT team to three first-place finishes and led her 2007 NIT team and 2009 Festival team to championships. She has also played for the Mystx club team for the past six years. Arner's sister Candice was a two-time All-Ivy field hockey selection at Princeton and graduated in 2009.
38 - Colleen Boyce, Back, Califon, N.J., Voorhees High School
Boyce was a four-year varsity starter at Voorhees and was the team's captain and Most Valuable Player as a senior. The 2010 Northwest New Jersey Player of the Year, Boyce was a NFHEA Regional All-America and an Academic All-America. Boyce was also named first-team all-state and broke the Voorhees High School record for goals scored in a single season and in a career. As a USA Field Hockey participant, Boyce has been a member of the Women's National Indoor Team since 2008. In 2010 Boyce played for the NJ Junior High Performance Team and was a member of U17 National Team that took third place at the Junior Pan-Ams in Uruguay. Boyce has played for XCalibur club since 2007 and has participated in five NITs, four Festivals, two Junior Olympics, five NFCs and has been Olympic Development Select for two years. She was recently selected to play for the 2011 New Jersey High Performance Team. Boyce's older sister Kelsey plays field hockey at Iowa.
25 - Julia Boyle, Goalie, Media, Pa., Episcopal Academy
Boyle was a four-year varsity starting goalkeeper at Episcopal Academy and was a team captain and voted the team's Most Valuable Player as a senior in 2010. Boyle helped her team to the 2008 Inter-AC Championship. Boyle also plays for the Mystx field hockey club and helped her team to the NIT Pool A Championships in both 2009 and 2011. Boyle has been an NFC alternate.
5 - Allison Evans, Striker, Macungie, Pa., Emmaus High School
Evans was a four-year starter at Emmaus High School and led her team to a pair of PIAA state championships, four District 11 championships and four Lehigh Valley conference championships. Evans is the all-time leading high school goal scorer in state of Pennsylvania with 158 career tallies. A 2011 NFHCA academic All-America selection, Evans was the 2011 Emmaus field hockey scholar athlete of the year. She has twice been named to the NFHCA all-region team and three times to the Pennsylvania all-state team. As a USA Field Hockey participant, Evans was named to the U17 National Team and competed in the Junior Pan-Am games. Evans also played on the 2011 U19 team that toured Chile and has been on the Olympic Development squad for the past three years. She was recently selected to play for the 2011 New Jersey High Performance Team.
13 - Stephanie Goldberg, Midfield, Allentown, Pa., Parkland High School
Goldberg led her high school team in goals and assists in each of the last three seasons. A 2010 NFHCA National Academic Team selection, Goldberg was a three-time PHSFHCA All-State. Goldberg was the Parkland Field Hockey Scholar Athlete as a senior and was an LVIAC First-Team All-Star. Goldberg was selected for the U17 Junior National Squad and Olympic Development Select Team in 2010-11. She also attended the Junior National Camp in 2010 and FDIC in both 2010 and 2011 as a member of Futures Elite, was a three-time Junior Olympic Selection from 2008-10, and a three-time medalist at National Futures Championship 2008-10. Goldberg played with the X-Calibur club team, and was a three-time participant at the National Hockey Festival, winning a gold medal in 2010 and twice attended NIT's. Goldberg was recently selected to play for the 2011 New Jersey High Performance Team.
6 - Sydney Kirby, Midfield/Back, Cleveland Heights, Ohio, Hathaway Brown School
Kirby was a five-year varsity starter in high school playing at St. Catherine's School in Virginia before moving to Ohio and completing her career at Hathaway Brown. A two-time NFHCA first-team All-America, Kirby is a four-time all state and all-league honoree. Kirby was the Ohio Player of the Year as a senior captain and was named the team's MVP for the third straight season. Kirby holds school records for goals, assists, and points and led her team to a state championship in 2008. She has been a four-year member of the U.S. Junior National Team and is a four-time Olympic Development Select designee. Kirby toured Chile with the U.S. U19 team in 2011 and competed on the U17 team that won Bronze at the Junior Pan-Am Games in Uruguay in 2010. Kirby also toured Holland in 2008 and 2009 with the U16 team and is a member of the 2-11 Midwest High Performance Team.
1 - Annie McLaughlin, Midfield, Chester Springs, Pa., The Hill School
McLaughlin has played the last four seasons at Hill School, where she helped her team to three Mid-Atlantic Prep League Championships from 2007-09. In 2010 McLaughlin was the all-area Player of the Year and was a three-time first-team all-area and first-team All-MAPL. McLaughlin also plays for the Mystx field hockey club and was a part of the 2011 U19 Mystx Team that won the National Indoor Tournament Pool A Championship. McLaughlin has also been involved with USA Field Hockey as a participant in the 2006, 2007 and 2008 Junior Olympics and in the National Futures Championships from 2006-09. McLaughlin was selected to the Futures Elite Program from 2007-09.
