Quintet Named to Longstreth/NFHCA All-America Team

The honors continue to come in for members of the 2012 national champion Princeton field hockey team. Five Tigers earned Longstreth/NFHCA Division I All-America accolades, it was announced Tuesday by the NFHCA.
All-Region and All-Ivy First Team honorees Julia Reinprecht, Katie Reinprecht and Kathleen Sharkey were named to the All-America First Team. A two-time second team selection, Julia earns her first All-America First Team recognition. Both Katie and Sharkey earn their third consecutive first team accolade, concluding their respective careers as four-time All-Americas.
Junior Michelle Cesan earned her third All-America award, picking up second team honors for the second consecutive season, and classmate Christina Maida was named an All-America for the first time. The goaltender was named to the third team.
All five Tiger All-America selections were also named to the NCAA All-Tournament Team following Princeton's 3-2 victory over No. 1 North Carolina to claim the program's first national title.
