This Week for the Tigers: The Princeton women's basketball team (17-4 overall, 7-0 Ivy League) will face Columbia (2-19 overall, 0-7 Ivy League) on Friday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m., before traveling to Ithaca, N.Y. to take on the Cornell Big Red (9-12 overall, 3-4 Ivy League) the following day at 7 p.m. This will be the second meeting between the Tigers and both New York-based squads.
Last Time Out: The Tigers made it 10 straight victories with a weekend sweep over Dartmouth, 72-41, on Feb. 10, and an 84-56 win over Harvard the next day.
Junior Niveen Rasheed reached the 1,000-point milestone at Harvard.
On Deck: Princeton returns home to host Harvard (Feb. 24) and Dartmouth (Feb. 25) at Jadwin Gym after four consecutive road games.

Scouting Columbia: Columbia (2-19 overall, 0-7 Ivy League) has not won a game since their 77-74 victory over Bryant on Dec. 30. The Lions, who are riding a nine-game losing streak, are coming off an overtime loss at Brown, 72-63, and a 73-59 defeat at Yale.
Tyler Simpson and Melissa Shafer lead the Columbia offense, averaging 11.9 and 10.7 ppg, respectively. Courtney Bradford is the team's top rebounder, with 6.7 rpg.
All-Time Series History vs. Columbia: The Tigers currently own a 39-16 all-time record over Columbia entering this weekend's action. In their first meeting this season on Jan. 15, the Tigers scored a season-high 94 points to hand the Lions a 94-35 loss at Jadwin Gym. Columbia has not earned a victory over Princeton since 2007-08.
Scouting Cornell: Cornell (9-12 overall, 3-4 Ivy League) is coming off a pair of road losses to Yale, 86-73, and Brown, 60-49.
The Big Red are led by a pair of double figure scorers in Clare Fitzpatrick (11 ppg) and Allyson DiMagno (10.7 ppg), who is also the team's rebounding leader with 7.6 rpg.
Cornell will host Penn prior to facing the Tigers.
All-Time Series History vs. Cornell: Princeton leads the all-time series versus the Big Red 43-20. The Tigers dropped Cornell, 64-35, on Jan. 13 in their first meeting this season. The Big Red has not seen a win over the Princeton since the 2007-08 season.

Milestone Week for Rasheed: Junior forward Niveen Rasheed was named to the U.S. Basketball Writers Association Player of the Year Midseason Watch List. She is one of 20 players nationally to be up for the USBWA's top honor.
On the floor, the Danville, Calif. native scored her 1,000th career point at Harvard on Feb. 11, reaching the feat in less than 2.5 years. Her milestone basket is also up for ECAC Video Play of the Week. To vote for Rasheed click here.
Edwards Named Lowe's Senior CLASS Award Finalist: Senior Lauren Edwards has been named a finalist for the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award. Out of 30 candidates from NCAA Division I institutions from across the nation, Edwards is one of 10 student-athletes selected as a finalist for the prestigious award.

10 Straight Wins: The Tigers have not lost a game since Dec. 17 at then-No. 4 Stanford. Since then, Princeton has won 10 consecutive games in six different states.
League Leader: Princeton remains in control of the Ivy League women's basketball standings, as they improved to a perfect 7-0 in conference play. The Tigers have beaten all teams in the league once this season.
Receiving Votes: For the past five weeks the Tigers have been receiving votes in both the AP Top-25 and ESPN/USA Today Coaches polls. Princeton is ranked No. 32/35 in the nation.
RPI: The Tigers remain in the top-25 in the DI RPI poll. Princeton is No. 24 in the country.
A Familiar Face: Princeton director of operations Megan Griffith returns to her alma mater Friday, when the Tigers face the Lions. Griffith was a four-year letterwinner for Columbia from 2003-07.

Rasheed Earns Ivy POW Honors: Junior forward Niveen Rasheed has been named Ivy League Player of the Week four times. The lone Tiger to receive conference honors this season, the Californian was named POW on Nov. 21, Dec. 19, Jan. 2 and Jan. 16.
