Senior Krystyna Bellisario is the seond Princeton women's hockey player to be featured in Melting the Ice: Summer with the Princeton Women's Hockey Team. Throughout the summer we'll give you an update on what each Tiger is doing during this summer.
I am Krystyna Bellisario and am a rising senior on the Princeton women's ice hockey team. For the month of June I am spending my days at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto on the trauma, neurosurgery and neurology ward. I go from room to room and try to make sure that each child's hospital stay is as stress free as possible. I keep them company, play games, watch movies and try to maintain an upbeat atmosphere. I have spent time with children as young as two and as old as 17. I have really enjoyed my time at Sick Kids and often find myself spending more and more time at the hospital. I am enjoying my summer thus far, but I am also looking forward to what my senior year with PWIH has in store. Go Tigers!
