This Week for the Tigers: Riding a three-game winning streak, the Princeton women's basketball team (6-4) hosts Illinois State (1-6) in its final home contest of 2013 on Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 7 p.m.
Last Time Out:
• In their first overtime game since 2010, the Tigers upended Delaware 84-80 to top the Blue Hens for the first time in three years.
• Princeton would lead by as much as nine in the first half, but Delaware responded to cut the Tigers' lead to 38-36 at the break.
• The second half proved to be a possession battle with Delaware holding a 74-70 lead with 1:30 to play. A 4-0 run by Blake Dietrick and Alex Wheatley tied things up to send the game into overtime.
• Dietrick added five overtime points, including a momentum sealing triple with 1:05 left, to give the Tigers the lead for good. She finished with a game-high 22 points.
On Deck:
• The Tigers head to the Cavalier Classic at the University of Virginia from Dec. 28-29.
• Princeton will face Alabama at 12 noon Saturday and either Virginia or Coppin State the next day.

Scouting Illinois State:
• Illinois State (1-6) enters Wednesday's contest riding a three-game losing skid.
• The Red Birds are coming off a 57-32 loss at Fordham on Dec. 15 and are averaging 55.4 points per game for an -11.3 scoring margin.
• Chloe Nelson leads the offense with 14.3 points per game, while Brianna Puni has a team-high 8.7 rebounds per game.
All-Time versus Illinois State:
• Princeton owns the all-time series versus Illinois State 2-0.
• The Tigers defeated the Red Birds 68-65 on Mar. 23, 1996 in the WNIT in their in Amarillo, Texas first career contest.
• In the last meeting, Princeton dropped ISU 67-50 on Dec. 19, 2012 in Normal, Ill.
• This will be the first meeting at Jadwin Gym between both programs.
Dietrick Tabbed Ivy Player of the Week:
• Coming off a pair of 20-point performances, Princeton women's basketball junior Blake Dietrick was named Ivy League Player of the Week for the first time in her career.
• Dietrick averaged 21.5 points per game to lead the Tigers to a pair of victories, going 15-for-25 (60 percent) from the field, adding seven triples, and went 6-for-8 (75 percent) from the stripe.
• She scored 21 points at Binghamton and 22 points in an overtime win over Delaware, both game highs.
A Little More About Dietrick:
• Blake Dietrick leads the Tiger offense with 15.1 points per game, adding 4.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists over 10 starts.
• She has scored in double figures in seven games, tallying 20 points or more four times this year.
At the Helm:
•Senior co-captain Kristen Helmstetter recorded her third career and second of the season double-double versus Delaware.
• Along with her 18 points, second-best in the game, she grabbed a career and game-high 11 rebounds.
• She was nearly perfect from the stripe, going 7-for-8.
• Helmstetter is averaging a team-leading 6.8 rebounds and second-best 12 points per game.
Extra Minutes: Sunday's overtime win over Delaware marked the program's first extra period game since Dec. 19, 2010 when the Tigers fell to St. Joseph's 70-61 in double overtime.
Four in 10-Plus:
• Consistently this year four of Princeton's starting five have averaged double figure scoring numbers.
• Led by Blake Dietrick's 15.1, Kristen Helmstetter (12.0), Alex Wheatley (10.7) and Michelle Miller (10.2) round out the Tigers' top scorers.
