Fred Samara's accomplishments as a coach continue to out-distance those he had when he was an athlete. And that's saying something.
The Princeton University track and field coach earlier this month was named the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Mid-Atlantic Regional Coach of the Year.
So what else is new?
The 63-year-old coach won the same award after last year's outdoor season, as well as in 2011. In the past 11 years, he has won the association's outdoor honor five times and indoors honor four times.
