Reinprechts, U.S. Field Hockey Conclude World League Semifinals

Julia '14 and Katie '13 Reinprecht and the U.S. Field Hockey National Team completed play at the World League Semifinals in London on June 30. Team USA went 2-4 and earned a fifth-place finish, keeping its hopes alive of advancing to the 2014 World Cup.
Both sisters served as starters and key contributors, with Katie scoring goals in the squad's wins over Italy, 6-0, and Spain, 3-1. Julia helped manage the backline throughout the tournament, including being an integral part of the shutout over the Italians.
Team USA will return stateside to prepare for the Pan American Cup in Mendoza, Argentina in September. The Pan Am Cup is America's continental qualifier for the World Cup.
