Tennis Teams Included in Season's First ITA Rankings

Princeton's tennis teams were well represented in the inaugural Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings of the dual-match season, with the men's and women's teams both ranked and each team also represented on the individual lists.
The men's team was ranked 54th on the 75-team list, one of five Ivy League teams included in the rankings. Junior Zack McCourt was ranked 119th among the 125 players included from across all of Division I, and teammates senior Augie Bloom and sophomore Jonathan Carcione were the 44th-ranked doubles team. Five Ivy men's players were ranked on the singles list and the league had six pairs among the 60 on the doubles chart.
On the women's side, Princeton was ranked 69th as one of four Ivy teams on the list, while freshman Alanna Wolff at No. 62 was the top-ranked Ivy individual among three included. The league also had five of the 60 women's doubles pairs.
The women's team will begin the dual-match season first, on Jan. 25 in Jadwin Gym against Temple, while the men's team will begin Jan. 30 at William & Mary.
