FOUR SCORE
Junior Kendall Peterkin picked up her fourth Ivy League Player of the Week honor after averaging more than 5.1 kills and 6.0 points in victories over both Cornell and Columbia last weekend. She nearly recorded her third 20-20 of the season against the Lions, posting 19 kills and 24 digs in the 3-1 win.
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
Peterkin currently leads the Ivy League and ranks 11th in the NCAA with 5.26 points per set, and she ranks first in the league and 19th in the NCAA with 4.43 kills per set. Peterkin is also in the Top 50 nationally in aces, and she is the only player in the league to rank in the Ivy Top 10 in kills, points, digs and aces.
HIGH EFFICIENCY
While Kendall Peterkin has been the standout so far, both Nicole Kincade and Cara Mattaliano earned spots on the Ivy League Honor Roll last weekend with highly efficient offensive showings. Kincade, a senior middle, hit .500 for the weekend with 3.3 kills per set, while Mattaliano averaged 3.7 kills per set and hit .359. Kincade ranks fourth in the league in attack percentage (.331), while Mattaliano ranks eighth in kills (2.94 per set).
BLOCK PARTY
Nicole Kincade has also been a defensive standout this season. She leads the Ivy League with 1.04 blocks per set this season.
SETTING THE TABLE
Princeton sophomore Lauren Miller and Yale freshman Kelsey Crawford will meet Saturday, and the duo ranks 1-2 currently in the Ivy League in assists. Miller leads the league and ranks 44th nationally with 10.85 assists per set, while Crawford, a former Ivy League Rookie of the Week, ranks second with 9.93.
SERVE IT UP
Each of the three teams that will play in Dillon Gym this weekend rank among the top half of the league in service aces. Brown has three of the top five individually ranked players, and it leads the Ivies with 1.54 per set. Princeton, led by Peterkin's 4.1 per set, ranks second (1.35), while Yale ranks fourth (1.32).
SCOUTING BROWN
Brown enters the weekend with a 6-9 mark, including a 1-2 record in the Ivy League, but it has the momentum from a 3-0 road win over Harvard last Saturday night. Junior McKenna Webster had 10 kills in the victory for Brown.
SCOUTING YALE
Reigning Ivy League champion Yale is 6-6, 2-1 entering the weekend, with its lone Ivy loss coming at Harvard last Friday. Senior Mollie Rogers trails only Peterkin for the Ivy lead in kills, while the duo of Kelsey Crawford and Kaitlin Gibbons have combined to win the last four Ivy League Player of the Week honors.
