Leahy Captures ECAC Hockey Player of the Week Honor

ALBANY, N.Y. (2/25/14) - Princeton's Brianna Leahy has been named the ECAC Hockey Player of the Week for the week ending Feb. 23. This is Leahy's first weekly league honor.
Leahy had a hand in all four Princeton goals as the Tigers defeated No. 3 Cornell 4-3 at Lynah Rink. It marked a career-high for the junior as she scored twice and assisted on two others. The win ended Cornell's nine-game unbeaten streak in the series and marked Princeton's first win over the the Big Red since 2008. Leahy assisted on the first two goals and scored the third and game-winning goal in the contest.
Princeton faces Cornell in the ECAC Quartefinals this weekend in Ithaca.
