Princeton used a walk, a Rachel Rendina single, capitalized on a Sacramento State error and used a Danielle Allen groundout to score twice in the fifth inning in game one on the way to a 3-1 win. Princeton added another on a walk and an Emily Viggers single in the sixth before Sacramento State got that run back on a single and three walks in the seventh. In game two, Sacramento State scored all four runs in the second inning in a 4-0 win. The Hornets used three singles, a double and took advantage of a Princeton fielding error. Each team had six hits, but four of Sacramento State's six came in the decisive second inning. |
| Shanna Christian threw 4 1/3 shutout innings in Princeton's first-game win. She limited the Hornets to four hits before handing it off to Meredith Brown for the save. |

Danielle Allen put the ball in play in the fifth inning that led to two runs and put the Tigers up 2-0 in the first game. Princeton took the game 3-1. Sacramento State's Paige Martin had a two-run double in the second inning that gave her team a 4-0 lead in game two, a lead that the Tigers weren't able to overcome. |
