Thursday's first game resumed in the middle of the fourth inning of a game that began on March 29 but was halted due to rain. The Tigers had the advantage of batting both first and last in the resumed game, but Harvard pitcher Laura Ricciardone took that edge away, scattering three hits across Princeton's four at-bats in today's portion of the game. Though the second game saw Princeton score first, Harvard answered quickly and didn't let Princeton on the board again in a 5-1 win. In the third inning, Princeton used a Kayla Bose single, a passed ball, a groundout and a failed fielder's choice to score pinch runner Kate Miller and take a 1-0 lead. But in the top of the fourth, a leadoff walk to Ricciardone was costly as Catherine Callaway singled home the game-tying run. More came for Harvard in the fifth, where the Crimson had four hits and two walks, including two home runs, to plate three runs and take a 4-1 lead. Harvard tacked on another in the fifth, and Princeton left runners on back in each of its last four at-bats after taking the brief lead. |

| Tough one as it was, the overthrow led to the only run of the game in Thursday's first game, letting Harvard score to take a 1-0 lead. Harvard's Laura Ricciardone picked up her 12th win of the season with the complete-game shutout. In game two, Kasey Lange's home run plated a pair and gave the Crimson the lead for good in the fifth inning at 3-1. The Crimson used three pitchers to hang on for the win, with Ricciardone going just long enough to register for her 13th win. Morgan Groom threw the fifth and was relieved in the sixth by Taylor Cabe after getting into a jam, and Cabe threw the last inning and two-thirds to pick up the save. |

• The sweep dropped Princeton a game and a half behind Penn (7-4) in the Ivy South standings and even with Cornell (5-5), though the Big Red have two games in hand on Princeton with an April 22 make-up home doubleheader with Harvard as the difference. Columbia, two and a half games back of Penn, rounds out the division. |
