PHILADELPHIA (4/24/14) – Junior Eddie Owens was fifth in the men's championship steeplechase as the Princeton men's track & field team opened action at the 120th Penn Relays on Thursday, April 24.

Owens clocked 8:56.54, his best time in the event this season. Senior George Galasso was 16th at 9:10.91.

Senior Jonathan Vitez returned to action in the 5k championship race and finished in 14:22.12.

Princeton resumes competition tomorrow at 12:30 p.m., with the 4x100 relay.
