Contini Named ECAC Hockey Player of the Week

ALBANY, N.Y. (1/13/15) - Sophomore Molly Contini has been named the ECAC Hockey Player of the Week it was announced by the league office on Tuesday, Jan. 13.
Contini led the league in goals with four while adding two assists for six points. Princeton swept Yale and Brown to earn four crucial points before a two-week exam break. Against Yale, Contini assisted on the first goal and sealed the win with an empty-net goal. The next day she again assisted on her team's first goal before scoring the third and fifth goals as Princeton won 5-1. On Tuesday, Contini scored Princeton's lone goal in a 3-1 loss to No. 5 Quinnipiac.
The sophomore from Arthur, Ontario is the team's leading scorer with 12 points and nine assists for 21 points.
Contini was named the league's Player of the Month in November after leading the ECAC in points with 10 and impressively did it as Princeton played No. 2 Minnesota twice, No. 4 Quinnipiac and No. 5 Clarkson, to close the month.
