Men's Track & Field Set to Compete at Armory Invitational, Princeton Multi

PRINCETON, N.J. – Coming off a strong showing at the Tiger Open, the men's track & field team returns to action this week at two separate meets.
The bulk of the Tigers will compete at the Armory Invitational in New York, N.Y. on Jan. 30-31. A handful of student-athletes will remain at Jadwin Gymnasium, joining participants from TCNJ and Lafayette for the Princeton Multi.

Doors open at 8 a.m.
Meet begins at 10:30 a.m., scheduled to end at 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, Jan. 31
Doors open at 7:30 a.m.
Meet begins at 9:30 a.m., scheduled to end at 6:30 p.m.
The first men's running event at the Armory Invitational is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 30 at 10:45 a.m. with the day's final running event slated to begin shortly after 7 p.m. Friday's field events start at 10:30 a.m.
LAST TIME OUT
Princeton won six events at the Tiger Open. Christopher Cook set a new personal record in the shot put, placing first with a mark of 18.00m (59-00.75). Greg Leeper captured first-place in the long jump at 7.03m (23-00.75), while Nana Owusu-Nyantekyi won the triple jump at 15.34m (50-04.00).
John Hill paced the field in the field in the 60m dash with a time of 6.87, while Carrington Akosa claimed victory in the 200m dash (22.24). Together, Bryant Switzer, Akosa, Leeper, and Ray Mennin helped Princeton to a first-place showing in the 4x400m relay, clocking in at 3:22.77.
