Lund Named ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Week

ALBANY, N.Y. (10/27/15) - Princeton's Kalie Lund earns her first ECAC Hockey honor in her first week of collegiate hockey, for the week ending Oct. 25.
The Eden Prairie, Minn., native, had a three-point week as Princeton swept Mercyhurst on the road to open the 2015-16 season. Lund had a hand in three of Princeton's five goals over the weekend. She earned her first-career point and got the play started when she halted a transition at the blue-line and took a deflected shot that led to the Tigers' first goal in a 3-2 win at Mercyhurst. The following afternoon she scored an unassisted goal - her first-career goal - just 4:27 in to the game.Princeton begins ECAC and Ivy League play this weekend, Oct. 30 & 31, when it travels to Yale & Brown.
