Lund Named ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Month

ALBANY, N.Y. (12/2/15) - Princeton's Karlie Lund was named the ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Month for the month of November, it was announced by the league office on Tuesday.
Lund led the league's rookies in scoring with eight points on five goals and three assists. Two of her five goals were game-winners. She was twice named Rookie of the Week so far during her career, including on Nov. 17 as she scored the game-tying goal at No. 8 Quinnipiac. Lund started the month off with two goals in a 3-2 win over Colgate. She factored in to every goal at St. Lawrence, with a goal and assist. Most recently, she had a three-point weekend with a goal and two assists at RIT.The Eden Prairie, Minn., native was also a nominee for Player of the Month, and teammate Kimberly Newell was nominated for Goaltender of the Month.
Lund and the Tigers host No. 7 Harvard and Dartmouth this weekend, Dec. 4 & 5.
