Three first-inning runs stood up for North Florida in the Florida Atlantic tournament finale Sunday morning as Princeton outhit the Ospreys but couldn't push runs across in a 3-0 defeat. Princeton rookie Ashley LaGuardia gave up four hits and three walks, striking out five in her second complete-game effort of the season. UNF pushed its first run across thanks to a walk, a single and a sacrifice fly, and then the Ospreys' Ashley Niesman hit a two-run home run to make it 3-0. Princeton had hits in five of seven innings and left six runners in scoring position in the loss. |
| Skye Jerpbak was 2 for 3 with a double, hitting out of the No. 8 hole in Sunday morning's contest. |

| UNF's Ashley Niesman hit her third home run of the season in the first inning and while the two-run shot turned out to be for insurance, it gave the Ospreys a little breathing room right away when Princeton left runners on second and third in the top of the second inning. |
|
• UNF now leads the all-time series 3-1. |
| Princeton will head back to Florida next weekend, playing a bit further north at Central Florida's tournament in Orlando. |
