Men's Track & Field Claims Six Events at Princeton Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. – In its final tune-up before the Ivy League Heptagonals, the men's track & field team claimed six wins at the Princeton Invitational at Jadwin Gymnasium.
Christopher Cook claimed the win in the shot put with a toss of 17.86m (58-07.25). Mitchel Charles came in second with a mark of 17.18m (56-04.50). Scott Rushton was fourth at 16.76m (55-00.00). August Kiles won the pole vault, clearing 4.80m (15-09.00).
Tumi Akinlawon took first in the long jump with a leap of 6.95m (22-09.75). Victor Du finished as the runner-up at 6.57m (21-06.75), while Bryan Oslin placed fourth at 6.41m (21-00.50). Xavier Bledsoe was second in the high jump at 2.00m (6-06.75), while Colin Reilly finished third at 1.96m (6-05.00).
Jake Taylor and Vic Youn were fourth and fifth in the weight throw with marks of 17.14m (56-03.00) and 16.86m (55-03.75), respectively.
In the running events, Brent Albertson won the 200m dash with a time of 22.39. Stephen Rossettie was third in the 1000m with a time of 2:31.72. Albertson would later join Mike Seaton, Josh Ingalls and Francesco Di Caprio on the Tigers' first-place 4x400m relay team that posted a time of 3:25.92.
Ingalls was first in the 500m run with a time of 1:05.58. Di Caprio took third in the 400m dash with a time of 52.36, while Spencer Long came in fifth at 52.48. Long was also fourth in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.53.
